do you have any pics of what the return kit looked like assembled?
Also does the hole for the return pipe have to be level, above, or below the drain hole?

Sorry I dont have any pics. The tank is no longer setup. It don't really matter too much on the height of the return bulkhead, but the return output does need to be close to the top of the tank. If not when the return pump is shut off the tank will siphon down and could flood the sump.

No, it was a biocube14 with the back filtration removed.

Was it pretty silent? Also which piece from the return kit is the actual nozzle?

Yes the overflow job was pretty quiet, it made less noise then I thought it would. The return kit uses standard lockline and a lockline nozzle

So you would recommend me to purchase it? What size return pump did you use?

Depends on the setup you want. The nano overflow box is only rated for 300gph, so it will work fine with anything at that flow or below.
