Default Metal Halide pendant repaint project

Here is a little project I worked on last week.

I recieved my 250w PFO Metal Halide Pendants in the mail from a reefer up in New Jersey on reefcentral. I had seen pics and knew that the paint was peeling before I bought them, but I got them at a great price and didnt mind so much.

My plans- sand down to the bear metal, prime with high heat auto engine primer and them paint with high heat auto engine enamel paint in black.

They cured for several days and are now hanging above the tank.

I like doing stuff like this as a hobby. Im not afraid to tackle small jobs like bumpers, engine parts etc. I wont paint a entire vehicle using spray paint, unless you want that rat look which a lot of guys are into now days.

Problem is I do not have a dust free garage with vents/fan to keep stuff out and help me not breath in the fumes. So im limited to what I can/will do.
