just saying hello

i was just checking in since its been awhile. i moved to floresville on 5 acres and am raising 25 chickens, 4 goats, 2 barbados sheep, countless farm cats, and 5 yorkies (plus 3 puppies), and no aquarium. it is kinda nice not to worry about a tank but i do miss seeing fish swimming around. it is good to see many of the same people still dolling out the info needed to advance such a wonderful addiction. keep up the good work.

it will probebly only be a fresh water tank. i planted 2 apple, 3 peach, and 2 pear trees recently, and am going to start a small garden soon if i can keep the animals out of it. i want to try rasberry, blackberry and grapes out here also but the goats and chickens love anything green. luckily i have found only two rattlers out here,(i accidently picked one up with some post i was moving) and the other was just a head after the cats and chickens ate it. for the first time in 40 years i am completely satisified with everything i have and anything i may want i really don't care if i get it, it is a strange feeling.
my kids love it here also and my son has really opened up and doing better in school, his favorite thing is to look for eggs and chase the animals around. my daughter is a tweenager that is going to try my patients but is great.

Sounds like fun!

Maybe it's time to introduce a large scale fish hatchery, lol.
