Picked up this little guy this past weekend, wish the guy knew the actual name vs. blue polyp encusting montipora.
Anyone have any ideas, cant find anything online that looks close.

i was thinking about this after talking with you yesterday. maybe it is a tyree flower petal cap than isnt quite as green as it should be?

Ace, i was thinking that as well...but the yellow in it is almost orange...might give it a few weeks and see what color it ends up

Yep looks like a possible flower petal. Give it a few weeks to color up and take another pic. If it stays yellowish, I think Lakers montipora is similar to that.
