Default Need help with tank after suffering auto accident

On Nov 23 I was involved in an accident which left me (temporarily) incapacitated. I suffered a fractured left ankle and hip as well as a fractured right knee and wrist. Since arriving home from hospital on Dec 17 I have painfully watched my 75g tank decline.

My wife has been about as patient as she can be under my direction but she is really not up for the task of dealing with some of the routine maintenance that must be done.

My tank is just over a year old. I have been a frequent visitor to the MAAST site and have been impressed by the general friendliness and generosity of its members. However, due to the lengthy hours I put in at work I have not been able to be as involved as I would like.

Now however, I have nothing but time (at least for the next 8 weeks or so, until I heal) and could use some help maintaining my tank. If there is anyone who lives in the Wurzbach/IH10 area of San Antonio and can share some time, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Daron

I am sure some one here from MAAST will def, help you & your tank out...

    Take Care...

ps.. I would offer help, but dont think I could do much.... :(

wish I was closer but I am on the far SE side.
If you can't find anybody closer though I am sure I can swing by at least once and help out.

I feel your pain also. I was in an auto accident back in 2008 that left me with a compound fracture of my tib/fib in my right calf. I did the same thing you did and asked for help from MAAST. Like you the support was overwhelming. So if you need anything, just shoot me a message.

Thanks so much all for the quick responses. Thanks to Mike and Kristi for coming by and wrestling with my tight set up and getting it back on track. It's nice to meet good people! Daron
