r/o storage tank
I have an empty 60g tank and stand in the garage. Since it is thinner than my current barrel I was hoping to use it to save space and store r/o water. Can anyone think of a reason this wouldn't be a good idea?

Only thing I can think of is to keep a top on it to prevent evaporation/contamination

Why not use Saran Wrap, if you are thinking tight seal. Heck, Saran wrap, and then put the glass lids on top. Heck of an idea. Glad I thought of it. lol

IT SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM, THAT'S WHAT I USE TO STORE WATER IN MY GARAGE FOR MY 210 GAL AQUARIUM, I USE A 42gal RUBBERMAID TRASHCAN. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLEAN IT OUT VERY WELL, WITH HOTWATER AND LOTS OF VINEGAR
