    We have a vendor that sales that chalice as "Red Eye" chalice. Echinophyllia.

    yeah...I have seen many variations of mummy eye...including the same as the pic you posted but from the vendor we just got a Mummy Eye from they look nothing alike. Do you have any lineage on it?

    Miami chalice.
    Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

    +1 This is what makes the expensive corals expensive. I have seen some/have some awesome chalices but since they aren't named they cant fetch the price tag. Now if I was to give it to Steve Tyree and he sold it as LE it would go for ALOT more. I say buy it and see how it colors up in your tank.

    What makes a coral expensive is that there are people willing to pay for the asking price.
