I thought the difference was Picassos are percula and Snowflake are occelaris. I remember the first Picasso that thing was amazing! I wish the offspring came out like that. I just have regular Percula so it's not too exciting but used to have black and white occelaris.

Not a big fan of the new platinums or the albinos.

A few years back I had a friend who used to breed clowns and sell them to Texas Tropical and a shop called Aquarium sales and service. He used to get no stripe and misbar individuals all the time but would cull them or give them to me for my marine science lab, because the shops didn't want them. Funny how they are fetching such high prices for these mutant strain now. Has anyone on the site who breeds clown seen any strange mutations in their broods?? If so Hold on to them they may be the next big thing!!

As a FYI these are not mutations. They are the product of genetic engineering.Mendel did it almost a century before and many scientist after with D. melanogaster.

As far A.ocellaris being a "snow" and A.percula being a "picasso" is a line in the sand.
