how old is the bulb? How many hours left before it needs replacing?

Honestly, I don't know. I bought it in a package deal with my tank. The husband told me 3 months old, the wife later said it was 4 months old. And by looking, I have no idea.

you can pick up a 9 watt bulb for cheap online so I wouldnt worry to much about the age of the bulb I have seen them for less than 10 bucks.
