Visited City Pets

I had to spend a couple of days in Houston for a business trip this week and made a point of stopping by City Pets before I left town. This really is a beautiful store. I can't remember ever visiting such a clean fish store! Tanks were just immaculate and their selection was terrific. I caught myself stopping three different times to ask "what the heck is THAT?" and I can tell you that I have had very few occasions to ask that in the past three years of visiting LFS in my travels around the country.

Another thing that NEVER happens to me when I visit LFS is that I found myself wandering through the freshwater section with as much interest as the saltwater. They really have some amazing, beautiful plants and livestock. I was deep in thought about a planted freshwater tank for a minute before I shook myself and headed back to the saltwater tanks.

I highly recommend that you guys go check them out. I will be going back and taking Mike along. Good prices, very clean store, vast livestock selection, and all livestock seemed very healthy. I was definitely impressed.
