    Oh before I forget, make sure your windows audio service is running. Go to start>run then type in services.msc hit enter. Once the services tab opens up scroll down to windows audio and make sure the service is started.

    Yeah it works, the card I have is M2Ne-sli mobo. I bought it like 3 years ago with 64 bit processors just came out. Apparently the cm6501 integrated sound card has this issue where it either: a. makes a fuzzy noise b. only some speakers work c. mic doesn't work.

    Right now I have b and C doing it, and the final step is just to get an onboard card. If I couldn't find someone on here with one I was going to head to my amazon prime account and get some usage out of that.

    Went ahead and bought one on amazon. Thanks for the information. I made sure windows audio was working though.
