    Default FOAM QUESTION?

Am thinking about adding some foam over the overflow box. Can i just spray it on the box or glue some eggcrates on to the box first? Give me some pointers...thanks
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

It would be easier to manage if you used egg crate. I made a vivarium background and its not very stable standing on its own over a space. I recommend Great Stuff foam at walmart or you can spend 3x the amount and get black foam from the pond department at LOWE"S. I used Greatstuff and used spraypaint and black silicone to color it. Goodluck with the build!

You might even cut the egg crate to size and cover that in foam and when it dries you can treat it as if it were a removable lid for the overflow. If it's for the sides of the overflow box you should be okay with spraying directly on the box. spray a little at a time so it wont fall over due to weight before it dries.

Be sure to post pics so we can see the finished product
