    Default Air Quality and Plants

Got a bunch of cool algae coming from John at ReefCleaners.org (yeah and the MAAST coupon code still worked too ) but have also been thinking more about indoor air quality in the house.

I found these two links with info on the topic:

    air quality: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Top-1...fe-78345.shtml

    oxygen: http://www.ehow.com/list_6521598_oxy...se-plants.html

(check out that snake plant producing oxygen at NIGHT - obviously I got one right next to the aquarium now ;) )

Best of all our Home Depot has tons of massive house plants for only 5 or 6 bucks right now so we got lots of them to improve our indoor air quality (and it looks nice too)

Hanging baskets like philodendron and spider plants are usually $9.95 and now they're $4.95. The big upright plants are $9.95 but they have the same plants in smaller pots for $5.88 just bursting out of those small pots (going to repot them anyway so that's okay with me)

Very cool Karin. Something I have never thought about. Will definitely plan to get some house plants soon.

Thanks Karin I needed to buy my wife something for our anniversary and this should be perfect.
Unless you want to pick out $50 worth at the Home Depot in the forum for me and I can meet you there and I pay for them?

Oops Sorry! I'll try and come up with a better idea for your anniversary next year ;)
The pots were a good idea and those are expensive

Ewwww I have a good report for you. Its one on what NASA did to improve air quality on their spaceships. I will try and dig it up this weekend but if I forget please remind me as it is very informative.
