210g reef and fish tank
Alex, as long as you are fragging, we'd love to buy a couple from you too. When we had these growing like crazy in our 210g, I could just place rubble strategically near the base of some and within a week one would grow right onto the piece of rubble. So if this going to take a while, no hurry... Just keep us in mind when you have some ready.
Hey Kristy! Yea, I can get you some too. I normally do the toothpick method which works a little quicker. I'll let you know when they're ready.
Thanks,
Alex

240gal BRICK!!
Its ok. I havent given it much love lately because of nursing school but gonna make time now.
First crop it, then stick it with the toothpick, and last rubber-band the toothpick to the rock. Wait until the Xenia mounts to the rock (week or two) then remove the rubber bands and carefully pull out the toothpick. Spinning the toothpick or holding the stalk works if you have problems removing it.
I believe plastic toothpicks would work better, but I haven't found any. I believe they would work better at removing them once the Xenia has mounted to the rock. I've checked HEB and a couple of other places and couldn't find the plastic toothpicks. If you find some let me know where.
Also don't put the frag in a place with a lot of current. You don't want the frags falling off the rock.

Chain saws work great also. No hassle with toothpicks... haa
