actinic shots are more difficult than full light shots imo. get a decent tripod and use the camera self timer when you are taking those low light shots, it makes it much easier.

Another great macro lens that may run less than the Canon 100mm but arguably just as good is the Tamron 90mm that may run a little less. I own that one as well as my Nikon 105mm just because I like it that much.
Just a thought.

Ramsey, I'll see if I can get a picture of my tripod. I am not using it now since my camera got broke. It is a pretty good one I will let go...as you say...a steal...lol
