    Default Fauna Marin Foods

I just picked up some FM food yesterday at LMAR, and so far I love it. The LPS food is great, the coral goes crazy. I also got some of there new zoa/acan food. I just added some today, I will let everyone know if my zoa's start going crazy. For anyone with LPS I think there LPS food is a must. The pellets are so easy to feed. So far I have feed acan's, blasto, scolly's and they all wasted no time eating there pellets.

I love frozen food but I think as far as dry food goes Fauna Marin is definitely one of the best.

I acquired LPS pellets as well. I turned down the pumps and used a hollow plastic tube to guide the sinking pellets into each head I fed; to keep the fish from eating them. How do you target feed LPS?

I used a pipette to drop some pellets into the center of a dying scoly. It had receded quite a bit before I got it, but I hate to see something die without a fight. So far all my other foods and feeding methods barely got any feeding response at all. A few pieces of Fauna Marin food on the center, and the scoly opened up and swallowed in a hurry. I didn't think it was even capable of eating anymore. I was ready to give up on it. I hope to pose some recover pics after a short while.

As for the acans and other LPS, I wasn't even very good at my targeting. I was trying to battle off a hungry shrimp so the pellets fell haphazardly, and the acan tentacles reached and grabbed for the good stuff, not wasting a bite. Easier to target feed than my NPS.
