Life is good! I am still living in Corpus, traveling to Houston every week for work and hanging out with the local fish nerds!!!!

I know I'm slightly late with these, but it looks awesome. Are those kriesels on the table there? For the seahorses? I made a few for my jellyfish at work.
I like the new giant water ...containers in the back there! It looks awesome. Wish I wasn't so far away, I wanna stop by and see everything in person.

    Hey Jess,

Thank you so much for the comments man! Yes, those are the seahorse kriesels, our partner, James, has handcrafted them himself in our acrylic shop...one of our H. Reidi pairs are having babies like clockwork so we have created multiple ones to handle all the babies. We have actually recently moved some to a large rectangular tank and they started frozen foods last week and are doing very well. We feed them frozen food 4-5 times a day, and then top them off with a bit of artemia for the evenings.

I am in the process of updating our website with pics of the seahorse and onyx clown nurseries, I will post on here when the site is updated with pictures.

    Best,

    Michael

Michael, do you not remember me?? of course I know who made them. ;)

I was rearing some sea horses at the aquarium I was at for a little bit. Unfortunately, they did not have the correct housing or food for them or the other baby fish(skilletfish, if you were wondering) we were having, and nothing survived. Even though we are AZA certified we're also a private "for profit" aquarium, and the owner prefers to drive a different Aston Martin to work everyday instead of putting money back into the aquarium for a proper set up. It is really disappointing to work for someone like that, after being able to work for people like Dr. Mark and James haha.

Either way, I'm currently miserable working at Whole Foods instead. But on a positive note, it affords me the ability to swim with whale sharks, while at the aquarium I could only watch from outside the tank. Hope you're doing well.

OMG, Jessica! Now I remember! I was just talking about you the other day wondering where you were and how you were doing!

    Glad all is well.

I'm back in Jersey. The military didn't want blind people, so I was discharged :( haha. I miss you guys!! Trying to convince my boyfriend that flying to Corpus to pick out frags is better than just ordering them off the site. hahaha
