I've unfortunately moved way too many tanks from Austin to as far as Colorado (don't ask) and for the most part I put them in the back of the truck with blankets up to the cabin and on the side with the stand blocking it in to avoid it moving and drive close to the speed limit and go really slow on speed bumps. For larger tanks I rent an enclosed UHAUL trailer.
