    Default Help TDS Again.

    Russ, my TDS is 288 in and my out is 2. This is after replacing the sediment, and carbon block. I recently replaced my RO membrane, which I ordered from you guys. I also am running through 3 DI chambers. Please help me figure this out. I bought the dual DI and membrane 8-21 Oh and my pressure is at 62

    I just dont think 100 gallons should be killing RO membranes that fast.

    Sounds like we need another TDS reading - we need 3 total:
    1. tap water (=288)
    RO water= ?
    DI=2, right?

    How are you measuring the TDS?

    Might be best if we talked on the phone when you are in front of the system. Can you call in tomorrow?

    Russ,

    Thanks for the quick reply. Sure I can call in tomorrow. I treated my tank yesterday with Flatworm Exit, and I am going through all kinds of heck. I will be making water all night to try and get a 100g change in tomorrow. I have a pretty packed schedule, but I will call in between stops. I have a inline dual test meter. The DI resin is changing color in the second DI chamber, I assume my first chamber may be packed too tightly?

    So that's an 88% rejection rate from the membrane. Are you using a 100 gpd membrane?

    There's no issue with your first DI cartridge being packed too tightly. Just sounds like your first DI cart is spent. There are some other things to think about - we can cover when we talk today.

    Sorry I got very busy yesterday. I will have time to call you later. All of my DI is color changing, and it has only changed in DI2. I know I have some odd problem, that's my luck.
