    Default Coral dipping setup's

I'm just curious about what everyone uses for dipping coral. My setup so far is, 5.5g glass tank, koralia nano, 50w heater and a 15w bright effects CF bulb.

2 5 gallon buckets and a quarantine tank (29 g glass tank with a heater, a Korallia nano and 2 bulb T5 fixture)
the main dipping set up is the buckets though:
first malachite green (for parasites and fungus), then seachem reef dip (for bacterial infections)

Mine is tupperware. I dont buy huge colonies though. No heater or powerhead. Never had problems with that setup so never changed it. Remember that most corals are alot less sensitive to temp swings than fish. Alot of corals on the reef are even in the air during low tide.

If I do buy a large colony I have a 5 gallon bucket that is used and marked with sharpie so it doesnt get used for water changes.

I agree most coral can handle some swings, but I now dip for atleast 2-3 hours. 6 if I don't start cheating. For that amount of time, I feel alot better with flow and controlled temps.

I've been looking at the new coral rx. It seems like it might be some ok stuff. Interceptor has been proven to work great aswell.

A pic of my basic setup. Well, worth the money. It's one of my best upgrades.
