Ill be posting EVERYTHING in my build thread soon, all of the plumbing and what works/doesnt!

    Custom DIY 40 Breeder Journal

Im also thinking maybe too much flow? Im using a mag 9.5, but it pumps about 5 feet up and runs a SCWD so that reduces it a lot... And it has a T going from 1" to 1/2" for future plumbing another smaller tank into it..

1" bulkhead with a 1 1/4" durso is rated for about 750gph. I have a sicce 4.0 on mine with no overflow box surging or spashing.

so I should be ok what that mag9.5 then right? It should be less than 750gph at that height and with the scwd..

I would think so, my sicce 4.0 is also rated at 950gph(@ pump)

    Default My fix

I have attached a pictured on what I did. The tank came with 1" drains and I enlarged it to 1 1/2" at the bottom
