Thread: BC29 acan tank

    Default BC29 acan tank

I have been working on turning my biocube into a acan tank. So far I'm happy with this layout, it's a keeper. Setup is pretty simple, I removed the false floors from chamber one and two, filled chamber two with live rock and a layer of filter pad on top, I added chemi pure elite, carbon, phosban, and for now a maxijet 900 under to rock to help keep the bare bottom clean. For fish there will be a pair of bangai cardinal's, maybe some kind of goby/blenny but not sure. I really like the rock in this tank, because it's one large piece with a cool little cave. I will install some LED's soon, and would like to add a MP10 but that will have to wait. Any idea's are welcome. The plan for this tank is all acan's w/ gsp covered bottom.

Thanks, I think it will turn out nice. It might need something different like a torch, hammer, blasto, duncan something just not sure what.

I think you're right. It does look great but something with a different texture would be good. I think blastos might be too similar. Something wavy like a torch would be a nice contrast.
