    Default Reef Safe?

I picked up 2 different epoxys tonight as I am unsure as to what will work. I am needing something to bond 2 pieces of plastic not acrylic, together that is reef safe.

    Loctite waterproof epoxy putty

    Loctite plastic epoxy

Does anybody know if these are reef safe or of a better alternative?

Not sure, is standard ca glue too weak for what you need?

i am assuming that by ca u mean superglue. And im not sure if its too week for what i need but I think it might be, and dont want to risk it, because if it fails it fails all over my laptop, 2nd screen, and stereo. I think I should be fine with them because they are 2 part and shouldnt leach but im kinda nervous and dont wanna wreck my nano right off the bat.

i dont think so because it makes a chemical/mechanical bond between 2 peices of acrylic. I have tried using it on acrylic and PVC before and that didnt work well, and the same with PVC and egg crate.

I've used several different brands of underwater epoxy putty and never noticed any bad effects on my fish or corals. Just be sure that you turn your skimmer off because it will go nuts until it's fully cured. It's pretty common to use them for mounting frag plugs or or binding live rock work together.
