I see you still have the frag tank/refugium still draining into the sand area. Why not add two more baffles in there...somewhere near the center of the sand area with maybe live rock in it and just have them drain there...?
Thanks Rob. I do have the fuge draining into the DSB and don't have any of the anticipated problems I thought I would have. Also, we tried to stay away from LR in the sump, but do have some in our fuge area.

I know it will probably be a bit more work construction wise, but it could remove any issues you might have with the water draining on top of the sand. Also from my experience you may want to make your final section that your return pump will be drawing from a little larger. That way, if for some strange reason your ATO decides to stop working it will take longer for the pump to run dry. I have had my ATO quit on my before and my final section is somewhat small and it didnt take long for the water level to drop, especially if you have a high evaporation rate. It's always better to plan for the worst than to pray it doesnt happen. Otherwise the design looks great and I love the drawings!! Can't wait to see the real deal!
I agree, unfortunately it is all up and running. I did create a thread a little while ago title, "I should of". I should of made this section bigger and made my 7" baffle maybe 1" or 2" taller. This would have given me a bigger area for the ATO. I do keep on top of it though... I also used the sump in which I had. We might change it a little later if problems arise, but all is well so far...
