Man give me the strength to be motivated agian.
I would like to go spend a bill at the stores again, now all I do is spend it on going out or on other hoodrat activites. How often do you guys go througth this. On the up side my photography is getting alot better. On the down side im starting to loose some real good friends. Its not the type of coral I keep, I think its the disapointment of the set up I tryed so hard to go with.

just make your system simple, when a hobby gets to complicated it's no fun. I've tried to keep away from too many gadgets on my system so it stays fun but still is satisfying

Reinvent, start over, everything is cyclical. "It's like a cirrrrrrcleeee, it neva enns"

Sell off what you don't need, keep that money set aside to reinvest in what you want.

Well, not sure what a 'hoodrat' is. I've seen a few field mice in my area but wasn't aware that we had rats in SA. What do you do, shoot them?

Dude, you know what helps me get through it is pulling all the rock out and putting it back in a different configuration. When the dust settles and the glass is clean again, then I'm hooked. But I honestly don't know how to spend another bill since realestate has become a problem.

As far as spending money is concerned, I'm leaning towards other ventures myself. I want to get a quick release for my bike's trunk. Spending more money on the tank just isn't feasible any more.

...of course I still routinely check out the for sale threads.

can you sit back and decide what on your set up you still really like?
What ended up not exciting you as much as you thought it would?
Then start over and focus on the things you really like

Lots of good info for you Kevin. I went through the same thing and have just recently got the urge back. I sat back and really thought about what I wanted on the new tank. I made a list of what went right and went wrong. I stepped back and found the motivation again.

sometimes it just takes time. if you try to force yourself to love it again, it may go away for longer.
