    Default Mechanics

My ol 83 Chevy needs some works. Want to find a good reputable mechanic.

    What i need done.

    Carb adjustment/cleaning- trucks running rich
AC- Truck AC not running, actually missing parts to.
Suspension- sags on the driver side from the years of having one person in the truck

Really just needs a good engine tune up. Stomp on the gas and it hesitates a bit, lossing some torque somewhere.

Let me know preferably someone in NW- far west SA near me. To hot driving all over town with no AC.

I got an 82 that sags on the driver side too. I just got some drop shackles for it and got an idea. I'll give you my saggy spring and you too could drop your truck using both saggy springs! Just kidding. I do have an 83 Quadrajet that I can't use if you want it to rebuild and keep driving. I'd take some coral I don't have for it. I could even rebuild it for a good deal. I know these trucks like the back of my hand, it's the second 82 I've owned. My first being my first vehicle in high school. I could help you get it running great for cheap. Trust me, I've already been there and done it with these. A shop told me my tranny was on the way out and I couldn't fix it, only make it worse. Well $20 and a few months later I'm glad I didn't let them have it for $800 in parts plus labor!

I use Belden's Auto. I have known Ronnie Belden for over 10 years and I trust them and they do good work. http://www.beldensautomotive.com/ 3 locations; one at 281 and bitters; one on Fredricksberg between Gus Eckert and Wurzbach and one in Boerne near Ewald tractor on I-10.

sorry i wish i could help you but i cant even spell caburator. all we work on is computer controlled sequential multi port fuel injected stuff,
i also cringe when i hear about someone needing a mechanic because i have a hard time trusting anyone.
how can i pray for you?
