U-Verse not a good start with me

Whatever you do, stay away from satellite for internet service. S L O W ! ! And the Fair Access Policy is a killer. 100mb in a 24 hour period will get you cut off for 24 hours. I get better internet service using Edge on my cell phone.

I switched to Grande Communications and love it waaaay more than TW. I pay less and I get all the channels (premiums and HD too) and internet. I have the phone also but don't use it!!

I wish Grande was available for me but I'm not in their service area. You have to be further north of 1604 in order to get it here.

I used Satellite for my internet connection back around 2001-2005 before moving back into town. Unfortunately they were the only option for where we lived and back when I had it the download was the only portion on the satellite, the upload was strictly still phone line. Equipment cost was crazy even back then, when they came out with the down and up they were even more. That part of living out in the sticks sucked since you have very little options.
