    Default Red Sea 34

So the tank I was getting that was supposed to be a biocube 29 is actually a redsea 34.

Scratched rather heavily and missing the hood. Does anyone know if I can remove the rim on this thing permenantly? Is it structurally neccessary once the hood etc are gone?

I already foamed the back wall and am debating on attempting some scratch removal.

Leaving for home depot shortly to get some plywood to modify my old stand as its about 4" to shallow for this tank.

Good times I imagine it will have water by late tonight or tomorrow.

I just set one of these up myself...I came across a great deal....I know you can get a replacement hood directly from red sea....you can also go to www.reefsanctuary.com they have a RSM forum with alot of mod ideas....i think alot of the guys are using the 24" 150 watt outer orbit light fixture if you don't like the stock hood...

if you need a stand i have the one mine came with that i'm not using....
