    Default water parameters

This maybe a rookie question, but I want to know what everyone thinks is ideal levels for sps. Ca/alk/mag, pH, etc.

    mg: 1250

I take care of the Alk and do not worry about pH.

whatever works for you, just toss them in and see what works lol. but really I think it has to do more with having a stable system and good husbandry habits. I don't test nor have I ever just know I need to do water changes and keep up with all other maintenance

    I keep mine at:

    Ca....450-60
    Alk....9
    Mg...1300+
    Ph....8.4
    Salinity...1.025
Temps...79-82.5 ( my heater turns on at 79 and lights off at 82.5)

I test for all the above...come see the results...
