    Default crab ID

found this guy in my pico when I pulled my dead blenny out a hole. I was thinking how does a dead blenny go tail first in a whole and be eaten half way all ready, I'm sure he didn't kill it blenny was in bad shape from jumping out earlier

Could it be a Black Fingered Mud crab - Xanthid crab?

Definitely not a good crab. His claws look pointed and serrated, bad crab. Looks like it could be xanthid. They have been known to kill and eat fish.

I had seen it when I first got some coral, it was a hitch hiker also came with a mantis shrimp. this was 6-7 months ago maybe longer I hadn't seen it since, so I thought it died.

IIRC Big claw + little claw = bad news.

Here's the best crab ID guide I've found yet. You might get a fix on him there.
