Has anyone ever ordered from these guys? IMO they have some great looking light systems and prices. Their system are built so you can add on later. I'm really thinking of getting a couple light sets from them . And a 48" 4 bulb T5HO set up with bulbs for 139.99!!! That's my price

The general consensus is that if it's too good to be true, it's a scam.

If you are not trying to do corals, then give it a shot. Otherwise go with what has been proven in order to keep from buying twice.

I Googled for "fish need it lights" which yielded some good results. It seems like they're legit, and decent for the money.

They look nice and seem to be legit but just like those Oddessy lights and Jebo products when anything is priced that cheap kinda hard to trust.. But what do I know maybe this is the one company in the world that has found a way to build and sell lights like this at 10%-25% of what everyone else does .. I know maybe they are not in it for the money..

My first set of T-5 lights was not from this vendor but very similar in design. I thought it was an ok fixture until I upgraded to an ATI fixture.
Compared to that the generic fixture seemed to burn the bulbs much more quickly even though it didn't use them to their full potential as the ATI did with the active cooling system.
I think I still have the link to my old build thread in my signature and you can see the difference in light over the same tank

After going down the thrifty road and just finally replacing all my old second hand and "its decent" equipment, and reading all the info on this and many other sites, its better to just to wait pay the extra 100-200 bucks and get quality equipment.

I "know" alot of members on nano reef that have used fishneedit lights and they all seem to like them. In fact, I don't think I've seen a bad review on them yet.

Coralife also makes a dual complete retro fixture with bulbs for about $140 and they are no fly-by-night company. I used 2 sets of their duals on my 280g and they worked great.
