The 'vettes are for little people so I've absolutely no use for them. But I hear that I may be able to cram my body into a C5 >sniff< I'd have to verify that in person. But I'm not crazy with any of the new models of corevette. My first and lasting impression of a true vette was/is the stingray, what was that? '69? '68? But still far too small for a man, better suited for the ladies.

But like bill said gm has some crappy interior that always gets me when ever im in a gm vehicle

The 2011 GT is doing great as far as numbers are concerned Evolution Performance went 11’s with et streets and 10’s on slicks pretty impressive if you ask me
A vet will always be faster than both with less power and will handle better …. They just don’t get out of the hole to well …

I'm much more interested in how the car handles than the 0-60 or 1/4 mile. Of course, since one car I own goes 0-60 in 13 seconds...

I love nothing better than to get a kid with his Mustang next to me on a 4 lane winding road, with my 3800lb E500 with an airmatic suspension shocks set to "Sport II"...

I don’t remember what is it called but the one thing i loved about the S class was the seat air cushion deals when you turned it would have like a seat side air bag that would deploy and hold your body straight up so you didn’t slide all over the seat. + it has massaging seats what more could you ask for but two different styles of cars

My E Class has "Dynamic Seating" - as you make a turn, the bolsters inflate to keep you centered in the seat. And yes, it has a "pleasure mode", where it massages your back while you drive. Since the seat and seat back bolsters are also adjustable, you can set your seat all the way from a "bench" type feeling, all the way to a "sport seat" like a BMW M3.

And, of course, the seat settings are in the key memory, so when Mamma gets in the car, the seat position, inflation, mirrors, etc. adjust to HER likes. And mine, when I get in the car. And, when I say "get in the car", that's it - no key in the dash. Just a key in the pocket. And, her key is set up so that only the driver's side opens when she pulls the handle (again, no key).

Oh yeah. And when I bought this car, it was still under warranty, and cost about what an entry-level Mustang would.

Erik I was looking at the IS F. That thing is sick. Ive always liked the is 300 and when the 350 came out I was kind of excited but this IS F is getting real tempting. Gonna have to go see what kind of discount I can get for it.

I also am not a huge fan of either. I like the camaro's exterior but not interior. I dont like the mustangs exterior. I think they are finally making some head way with the new hp numbers. I would still drive my z over either one. Ive become a big fan of Nissan after buying one. I still would like to own a STI at some point though. I still wonder how the import market will react. I think the whole evo, sti and 370 will see hp jumps eventually to compete. For a little more than 30 grand though I think you are getting a pretty good bang for your buck as far as hp.

Allan even though you are a foot or so taller than me. lol jk You would be suprised what you can fit into. I didnt think I could fit in a vette either until I had to drive one at discount tire. Same goes for the Z.

I have nothing against MB. Great auto maker. That skit is just stuck in my head.

Dude, I'd like to try to sit in a vet.... but the last time I tried (not sure the make), I couldn't get my legs into the cab. Mabye if I crawled all the way across and then backed in... no, just not a good fit.

Remind me to tell you about the time I went on a date using my brother's Triumph Spitfire. One date, on the way out to the dinner place she asked me to take her back home. Imagine Ace Ventura, pet detective.
