125+ complete

I'm looking to buy a 125gal or larger by mid July/early Aug.

I dont need a stand as my dad will most likely build one for me since he & i both dont trust the ones that they have but i can most likely use for a table.

With lights i would perfer one with a timer & atleast 2 blue bulbs and 2 white
and maybe some decor[fake rocks, coral, etc] and/or sump

I dont wanna give an exact price of how much i'm willing to pay cuase people seem to want higher than what i want to pay but i would say $700-750

I really like the Naso Tang & the Cubicus Boxfish, which is the reason for wanting a bigger tank. As well as more room to swim for my foxface, 2 angels, 2 tangs, 2 clowns and green mandarin.

Also by then, I will be looking for a Vul. Lionfish for my 75gal. which i dont want to paid more than about $70 for cause i can just go to my local pet store and get one for about that price.

I used to think in a similar way about this and still largely use that idea to price my own livestock when I sell stuff but somebody recently had a really valid point on this subject and I just wanted to put it out there...:
a huge number of fish die shortly after they arrive -rough trip, starvation, not accepting captive care food, etc. With the LFS you usually have fish that just arrived. Buying from another member that has had the fish for months or years has an advantage. Picky eaters will already have proven to be able to accept frozen or pellets, rough trips have long been overcome, etc. For that reason a fish that's been in captive care for awhile would actually carry less risk and a higher value than new arrivals.
Just a thought.

I trust my local pet store cause if the fish dies within a week, i get store credit plus, i've had good luck with my pet store on fish not dying after a month.
