I didn't want to tank out the sump and redo the whole thing. So I bought a small drimmel set, and cut out 1" grooves in the top of the baffle after the skimmer compartment. thus lowering the flow level to the fuge by 1".
pretty easy to do...just cost me $30 and a half hour of time.
