What are some of the strangest ideas on how to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico?

burning it than having to evacuate entire city’s because winds are making it impossible for some to breath

The unfortunate reality is there will be no real clean up, it's just too much oil for us to do anything about. If you go to Prince William sound and start flipping over rocks you'll still find oil even today.

The survey indicates a total area of approximately 20 acres of shoreline in Prince William Sound are still contaminated with oil. Oil was found at 58 percent of the 91 sites assessed and is estimated to have the linear equivalent of 5.8 km of contaminated shoreline.

And thats just the oil that makes it to shore --we have NO way at all to clean up the huge oil slicks that extend about a mile down. Even if we elimanated every drop of oil from the surface (Which we won't) it would still leave like 80 or 90% of the spill.

We just need to stop it as quickly as possible. The only way to clean up an oil spill is to not have one.
