They may be all different Kristy. In our area there's MOPS and MOMS Club and when I tried to decide which to join I just didn't like that I was required to leave my kids in the kids area and attend the activities for the moms in a separate room while my kids are in sort of a daycare arrangement (with the MOPS group). My kids are pretty attached to me and that's okay. They're only little for so long!
MOMS Club and especially La Leche League turned out to be more my style where the kids are welcome at all meetings and things are more flexible.

So the little group things are fun. The soccer was our first 'real' regular activity though (rather than just outings, etc.) and that was very cool. If Duncan wants to play again in the fall I'll volunteer to coach (there always seems to be a shortage on volunteers and our team's coach's kids are moving up into the next age group so he won't be available).

I already found a great swimsuit (not easy in my size) and a water sling for the baby so I am pretty excited and ready to go!

he already has a tricycle. It's just not much of a group event. I'd like him to have an opportunity to meet other kids his age.

    He's alive! What's up Josh?

I'll second the fishing with kids. For that age it's easy to buy a little kids/starter fishing pole kit at Wal-mart or wherever. Of course my son had to have a Tranformers fishing pole! They usually have a little plastic deal to tie on the line so they can practice casting too. Most lakes have a pier you can fish from. It's surprising how fast they turn into the typical fisherman too. Anytime someone talks about fishing I have to hear it from my son on how he caught more fish and bigger fish than daddy and great grandpa!

Hey Chris, long time no see. Hope all is well. I came over to look for a small sump/fuge for sale because I just moved everything out of my 190 into a smaller tank so I can tile under it and I'm considering just leaving the stuff there.

Funny we have a Transformers pole too. LOL... The fish will always bite a Snoopy or Transformers or Barbie line before they bite the other rigs, it's like they think they can get away with it and then you end up with a 4 year old holding a lake record.
