they come out and swim around the tank more than I thought maby they are looking to escape. I have used tongs and a clear plastic feeding stick. They just turn there nose away and do not show interest in the food but don't seem afraid of it. I have left chunks of shrimp where they hang out over night and it looks untouched.
Why would the ghost shrimp not last in a salt water tank ? We used to pump them out of the mud flats in the bay in California or are they not the same kind of ghost shrimp ? if you mean they will be eaten by other fish all thats in the tank are the 2 eels and 1 dwarf fuzzy lion.
