    Exclamation I WTB LIVE SAND!

Well I am getting my new 100g tank this weekend and I need live sand. If anyone out there is breaking down their tank and is selling their sand let me know. I am not looking to spend a whole lot of money simply because (as everyone out there has experienced) this build is EXPENSIVE! So let me know if you have any to give or sell

If you can't get the "live" sand, just get the bagged stuff, rinse it really well and ask someone with an established tank for a cup of sand or so to seed your tank. It will introduce all that good stuff and your sand will become live with time.

ismael You know what? You're right! Im going to get it new. I already have 30 lbs of cycled sand to seed it. I just called Gabe's and he sells it for $20 for 20lbs of live sand.

That's even better, there you got off pretty cheap and already set on starting to seed the new sand. The bagged caribsea, or whatever Gabe is selling usually is about $20 / 20lb bag.

Sorry to have hijacked your thread, was just offering another option as you had already made several posts.
