    Default koralia evo

well this pump is awesome, too bad i didn't listen to gabe and buy 2 right away, out the 15 he recieved, I was only able to get one, last one. I got the 1400gph and it smaller than my k2's and "blows" them out the water. gabe said he's getting more next week minus one ;), he has 1 of each of the nano models left.

Very cool. I never understood why the original K's were so popular. It's great they put out a new version!

FYI for anyone who's considering an EVO, they're Amazing little pieces of kit. They use little to no electricity and they're tiny!!!

Here's the breakdown of the 3 Evo models:

Flow Rate: 750 gph Power absorbed: 4.5 Watts
    Dimensions (Legth x Diameter): 3 1/2 in x 2 3/4 in
Outlet Size (Diameter): 1 3/4 in

    Flow Rate: 1050 gph
    Power absorbed: 5 Watts
    Dimensions (Legth x Diameter): 3 1/2 in x 2 3/4 in
Outlet Size (Diameter): 1 3/4 in

    Flow Rate: 1400 gph
    Power absorbed: 6 Watts
    Dimensions (Legth x Diameter): 3 1/2 in x 2 3/4 in
Outlet Size (Diameter): 1 3/4 in

As you can see, they have little to no power use, which means little to no heat... They work awesomely on wave makers from what I understand, and with the new redesigned internals, they have a longer estimated lifespan ;) My 2x 750's get in on Monday!

I bought four of the k14s and they are on my overflows. Where their flow patterns collide, it creates mini tornados! My fish don't really swim anymore, they just kind of float in the current! Theyve outdone themselves! Also, the motor is seperate from the base that touches the overflow, which reduces the vibration so they are silent. Simple design and inexpensive. Kudos to them for such a fantastic product! When Gabe gets them y'all better snatch them up quick!

Im a little partial to the koralia lineup as even though they were bigger than most other manufacturers they have done their job at a much lower cost. I cant wait to get 4 new evos though. Especially being able to run them on a wave maker!
