    Default to clean a drum

    I just got a 55 gal food grade drum to store ro/di water in what should I use to clean it with?

    I would use vinegar and hot water to wash out any left over oils and fill her up

    Take it to the car wash and hi pressure wash it. Then fill it up w/ water and some vinegar and let it sits for a couple of days. It will take awhile for the syrup smell to be completely gone,but you can use it.
    Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...
