Well, I picked up a reeflo hammerhead pump from secretweapons22 and plan on using that for practically everything. At 5800 gph at 1 foot, with 2-2 inch bulkheads to drain from the tank, I just needed to see if there were any other possibilities then hard plumbing that would hold up. Obviously gluing the hose to the fittings would be required. Home depot has some blue flex hose (1.5") that looks like its spa fle(pool vacuume hose)
