I'm glad to see you're checking some things out. Let me save you some time. I have been thoroughly researching this in depth for over 2 years. I have heard and read the few naysayers with no proven game plan and I have heard and read the abundant amount of information from the large number of proponents on the topic. More importantly with my children's health foremost in my mind and from a due diligence fiduciary type position in recommending this to family, friends, neighbors, etc..., I would only pursue and promote it if the evidence was clear.
There is a very fine but important distinction to make between 'chem-one site who has positioned himself as the #1 Google search and any other sources that try to debunk the information versus the proponents. The distinction is this! The opponents say "you can't electrolyze 'pure water' or change the blood and /or body pH". They are absolutely correct, in that fact!
Rebuttal #1- you can't electrolyze 'pure water'
Only reverse osmosis systems produce 'pure water' (H2O only) which cannot be electrolyzed. HOWEVER, water never naturally comes as H2O only, it comes combined with minerals, and minerals must be present to allow electrolysis to take effect. In fact the more minerals the better the results. That's why our aquifer in this area creates the best water available for electrolysis. So, true, "you can't electrolyze 'pure H2O", but "you can electrolyze water containing minerals" producing electron rich, high pH, restructured hexagonal water, that is good for you!
Rebuttal #2 - change the blood and /or body pH
The result or objective of taking in food or water that is alkaline versus acidic is not to change the pH of the body or blood, but to make it easier or less of a burden and strain on your systems in your body to keep your pH levels in the very narrow range required for life and health. This is done with pH Buffers or mainly Bicarbonate, which is created with minerals as a resulting response of the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
The higher the pH or alkalinity of the food and water we put in our stomach the more bicarbonate/pH buffer that is produced and the easier it is for the body to maintain it's pH levels. The more acidic the food and drink we intake the harder it is for the body and much more buffer/bicarbonate is needed to maintain the pH levels of the body. So, you can get the mineral reserves needed to maintain pH from the food and water you intake OR you can use and deplete the mineral reserves stored in your body to maintain pH.
