I really started this thread on purpose completely apart from any other posts to let the stores that run their business responsibly and with consideration for all things living know that their way of doing business is NOTICED AND APPRECIATED.
Not just in any particular incident but in general.
Since this type of transaction isn't what some people are interested in I was kind of surprised to see those types of customers on *my* thread.
I did not intent for two threads to get intermingled.

But yeah we are a fish board! lol Of course we take fish (and cephalopods ;) ) serious!

I understand. I've been out to a couple of the sponsors stores and felt very welcome into the hobby and know that any info I can get is well appreciated. Just trying to learn as much as I can before diving in.

it's great when a lfs tells you it's a bad idea/plan and helps you come up with another strategy, also when our great members post constructive critism. I know I wouldn't be as successful in this hobby if it wasn't for the help, I'm glad I found this forum as soon as I got my tank. one year down in feb and still love this hobby
