    maybe we would be doing him a favor by posting facts on this page so we know he at least read something about it here since he's going to be buying one regardless.....eh....nevermind. Good luck killing the octo.

    I'm not trying to discourage your purchase. I am brand spankin new to reefing and never thought to go for an octopus. That is just info I found in the last half hour. Been doing a lot of research on google and throughout many forums and threads before I am making a lot of my purchases. Interested to see how an octopus is inside of a household aquarium. Only seen them at the huge city aquariums.

    Members, while you may have some valid points, this forum is dedicated to communication with the sponsors. Everyone has made their points. Please allow Texasfist210 to do what this forum entitles him to do...which is communicate with the sponsors.

    If Texasfist210 gets an Octo... Can I get a baby Whale? I have a 100 gallon rimless it would go in. Thats big enough right? J/K

    Sorry Rob but I will never promote this type of irresponsible fishkeeping regardless of the forum. Octopi grow faster than anything else that we keep in Aquaria and that thing will outgrow it's tank within a few very short months. It needs live crabs two to three times daily and a way to export those nutrients from the water.

    I think it is unwise to bash us for trying to save an animal and an owner from the downsides of this hobby. This entire site is for that, it is in the site's statement of purpose, which should override any sub rules on a specific forum.
