Do you know what species you are getting?
If you feel like being patient (and felt the need to drive down to Corpus) I can order you an Atlantic pygmy octopus (O. joubini) in a month or two. This is the ONLY time of year when you can find juveniles, that will give you the best life expectancy in capitivity (about 9 months). If you buy an O. joubini any other time of year expect them to live only a few weeks/months.
