Is this a Favia Moon Coral?
What else could it be?
At night it has short rings of tentacles similar to an acan. These long ones appeared this morning. I had just fed brine to the tank. Maybe it wanted some? Or maybe something ticked it off? I am not sure if the long ones are for catching stuff or for defense...
The long ones are on the side that faces teh Vortech. Maybe it doesn't like the strong flow.

I agree that it seems to be a favia (don't know what type, but it looks super healthy).
Are the long tentacles going after something / some other coral? If not, then probably just eating the buffet you offer. Keep an eye on it and make sure no neighbors begin to suffer.
210 g reef tank started 3/15/08; 20 g hex reef tank started 1/3/08, ended 3/30/14

It appears to be a Bowerbanki, be very careful...they can be aggressive to other corals. It is in the Acan family. I think Mike Delgado had one of these.
