It's stickied in the lounge of all places.
I can move or repost it as a sticky in the photography forum if y'all think it would help.

hes around 8 months. we got him a GF and shes around 4 months now. but the younger one isnt registered and she an american bully
Waiting until he's fully mature is a good plan. It's actually recommended to not even run w/ your dog until 1 yr because it can cause premature arthritis. It looks like you have a fair sized backyard. You could do tracking w/ hotdog and simple commands (sit, here, stay, heel, etc.) a half hr an evening and I bet in a week you would already be thinking of new tricks!
That skid boot story is too cool. I hadn't seen that one.

he already knows all of my commands. he is a veery obedient dog. his gf is a pain in my butt though. she doesnt listen unless i use a high pitched voice. but shes still my baby( thats her name)
Ah, typical woman
J/K!!!
But really, you will see the majority of competitions and even police dogs are males. They are typical more ready to please. However, It wasn't true for my female apbt. I literally ran out of things to teach her..... Great breed. I can hardly wait for the media to find a new breed to pick on. They aren't the first breed to be labeled as viscous.... Shepherds, dobbies, and rotties all had their turn. The scary part is that any dog can be misidentified and called "pitbull" simply because it has a medium frame and pointy tail.
I'm sure you've seen this, but if not check it out! LMK know how many tries it took you.

Yes but when did those breeds start to be labeled as vicious? Most of them start to decline in quality when they become the breed dejour and people start backyard breeding them and others with no knowledge of the breeds requirements, time, resources acquire them because they are the popular breed at the time.
My neighbors started with one. He's been chained to a tree for years now because when he gets out he kills other dogs. Ironically that was actually the most people friendly dog of their bunch. He'd be happy to be petted when I met him at my mailbox. No spay or neuter at their house and the following year they got a female, then some puppies. The female was very 'off' right from the start. Even as a puppy she was very aggressive. Not anything like that first PB. The female and one of her puppies get to roam because they can't keep them in. They growl at the kids and I don't trust the dogs further than I could throw them. I don't let my kids play outside without our gate closed. Not fun. The last of their surviving cats now lives with us too.
I think the trouble really often does start when a breed becomes popular and people start to breed them willy nilly with little or no consideration to quality and others buy dogs without thinking about the breeds requirements. The Chihuahua rescue groups have experienced similar so it;s not just big dogs.

i think its funny when people think pits are vicious. any dog tied to a tree or locked in a cage and not socialized will become aggressive. my dog will lick you to death unless you try to come into my house in the middle of the night. my pit does not stay on a leash with me when i walk around the neighborhood and there is plenty of stray dogs around here. he stays right by my side and will not leave unless i tell him to. the only time he got into anything was when a large retriever attacked my pom/Yorkie and he let go the second i told him to and looked at me like i protected him daddy while the other dog hauled a??. i like my dogs protective but trained.
