    Default The Barnacles...

    are awesome! Such pretty shells.
They are in constant motion: filter feelers in/ filter feelers out. Very interesting to watch.
I lost a few of them in transit but luckily I got extras. The three that did make it are just beautiful! Thanks

and a picture to show the pretty shells!

They are really pretty. Much bigger than I expected too.

Everything else is looking great. Polyps are open on the gorgonian and all of the lunar eclipse polyps are open too.
The ones with the stumpy foot shipped very well. They were already fishing for food during acclimation! It's the ones with the really long feet that didn't seem top ship well (not sure if that's coincidence)
Since the barnacles are so big 3 is actually a good number. They are awesome.
I was just feeding them and they actually can move that stalk/foot (muscle?) and bend over to get stuff. The feelers are very agile as well. It is way cool to see them bend over and reach for stuff! Super neat. So glad I got them. Thanks so much!

    Glad you like them

The ONLY place I've EVER seen them before is Diver's den on Liveaquaria about two years ago. Like Mark said, they are VERY rarely seen in the hobby but can do well in home aquariums... Enjoy!

We've only got a few left if anyone was still interested.

The barnacles are still going strong for me. Amazing how fast they can whip around when they sense food from a certain direction!
