The male is a green cheek and the female is a 'cinnamon' green cheek. The female was never friendly to begin with. When I bought her a few years back, the male definitely cared less for me than for her, but he can still be cuddly when he wants. The female allows me to handle her, but clearly resents my close relationship with her husband.
Every spring they get all... wound up. For some reason, I gave them a box this year. I'm starting to think the few bucks I'll make selling the babies won't be worth the trouble and heartache. I picked the boy out as an egg, with every intention of a decades long pet. At 8 years (as of 3-18) he seemed to want to be a dad... I don't have the hear to deny him that.. but if they don't lay some eggs in a hurry, I'll give up on this project.
