    Richard, bud lake behind my old apartment has Bass! We caught them and they were from fingertip to elbow....

    I've seen people catching bass from the shore at Boerne Lake. Nothing huge but it's a relaxing lake, not crowded, and no motorized boats allowed. I usually just go there to go swimming.
